
The Masterpoint information from the Worldwide Simultaneous has been added: Note only players who were awarded more than 100 WBF Year points in this event have had their year points automatically converted to WBF Masterpoints. Any players who have Year Point certificates for this year which total more than 100 Year Points need to send the certificates to the WBF Masterpoint Secretary for conversion.

The allocation of WBF Masterpoints for Transnational Teams, Mixed and IMP Pair events has been changed to reflect the increasing size of the field. The actual number of Masterpoints available will now depend on the numbers of Teams or Pairs playing
These changes take effect from the the World Championships in Istanbul 2004.
Please note that the rankings are sometimes shown as equal to other pairs/teams; this is because the Master point allocation is the same for a range of placings. Also in some WBF Zonals there are Zonal winners as well as the top players; these Zonal winners are allocated a small number of master points but their ranking is shown as either 0 or 'Zone-Winner'.
